We recently celebrated my birthday at Mama Fanti. Everything was spectacular! We started with 3 appetizers to share; the Bruschetta Massimo was incredible! We were amazed at the generous dinner portions. One of my all time favorites, Chicken Milanese, was absolutely delicious. We arrived during a horrific thunderstorm and the staff was warm and welcoming. Service is spot on; our waiter put a candle in the dessert for me! I highly recommend Mama Fanti's Italian Kitchen!

Cozy, delicious, and welcoming! The food, as seen by the pictures, is as delicious as they look. Fun, cozy decor that gives you the feel of old family Italian restaurants. The owner and staff are very attentive and welcoming. It was a really nice experience and look to return. They have a wine selection of local vineyards and is also BYOB. As overheard, there are two dining areas. The one on the left is a more intimate order per person plates. The right side is family style dining by ordering for the table to share.

Absolutely delicious eggplant Parmesan. Tomato sauce with fresh garlic and herbs was fantastic. Everything was very fresh and served hot. Shrimp scampi with linguine was perfect. Beautiful large shrimp, generous quantity. Definitely a new favorite stop for dining.

A new restaurant in our bedroom community of Hillsborough, NJ, Mama Fanti is a place you don't want to miss. We went around 6:00 on a Friday night and were seated even though we didn't have a reservation. We found the food VERY flavorful! I really liked the sauces which must have some "secret" ingredients because they tasted better than what I have grown used to. We had a stuffed zucchini appetizer, three mains, a salad and a dessert for around 150. The salad was plenty for sharing. The eggplant Parmesan was interesting. I'm used to very thinly sliced eggplant with lots of breading, but Mama Fanti's was thickly sliced, nicely breaded with a delicious sauce. The veal cutlet topped with arugula was great, but the chicken dish (see below) was out of this world. I'll get that next time I go. We finished with an incredibly light tiramisu (one serving for all three of us).

My wife and I had a lovely time here with our baby. The food was great and felt like it was home cooked. The staff was extremely friendly and service was fast. Def give this place a try! I had the cheese ravioli and loved it

Came here with my wife. Right off the bat, we loved the charm of the place. The staff made you feel welcomed and at ease. The food was like the best home cooked meal we ever had. Wife had the Chicken Piccata. It was so good even she's writing a review. I had the Chicken Parmigiana. It was one of the best I ever had. The spaghetti was perfect al dente. The gravy/sauce tasted like it was perfected at home. This is one of those places that is so good. You don't want to let everyone know about it. It's that good.

Came in with a friend to share a lovely meal and we were not disappointed! The owner greeted us as we walked in and the atmosphere feels like you are in Italy sitting down in a family cafe/restaurant. My girlfriend had the Mama Fanti salad and I had the Arugula Salad with chicken, it was delicious. The service was excellent and the decor was beautiful. The light Italian music playing in the background added to the total experience. The place is pristine and the decor is lovely(the bathroom too!). There is the main room as you walk in and another room for private events that seats approx 20 maybe 30 people . We both decided we would use Mama Fanti for events we need to have catered coming up soon.

I recently dined at an Mama Fanti and had an incredible experience. The service was outstanding, and the ambiance was pleasant and spotless. Every dish was fresh and delicious — the saltimbocca came with a rich, flavorful sauce, and the calamari was perfectly tender with just the right amount of batter. The pistachio ricotta cake was also fantastic. Highly recommend!
